We are now embarking on a perilous journey, Homer's Odyssey. Make sure that you bring your textbooks daily to class! While we are currently reading "The Sirens" episode we are realizing that the hero's journey does not only apply to Homer's epic, but also to ourselves. We are at time called upon to help others? We also faces challenges and overcome the abyss with the help of our mentors, our friends, family, teachers, etc. Such challenges test our true spirit.

Don't underestimate the importance in recognizing the stages of the hero's journey as it applies to every single one of us!

2. I will collect your study guide Root Canal #9 study guide before you take your assessment.

3. Your first (extensive) draft of The Odyssey Imovie Project is due on Monday, February 8, 2010. The final is due on February 22, 2010. Your typed draft should be detailed and address your plans for  all of the following: setting, plotline, characters, costumes, props, filming schedule and equipment, etc.

I will conference with your group on Monday, so you need to be very articulate and thorough in your typed draft.
